Dear Asim, I don't know much about what police is doing in Gorakhpur. I know only that police never took any action on the complaint, my sister filed probably because other party paid the money and she didn't/doesn't have the bribe to pay.

While wishing you a very happy birthday and many many happy returns of the day I am reminded of a Police Inspector who visited our meditation centre very regularly. He claimed that instead of policing he preferred meditating & was sure that mainly
because of it he was rated first in the crime control meetings of his bosses. Even when a crime was reported to him, it was found to be just outside his jurisdiction. I later learnt that the inspector used to donate his entire share of the "collection" & was happy with salary alone. Such is the salutary effect of meditation which leads to "sarve bhavantu sukhinah, sarve sant niramaya". Sir ji ko chote bhai ka namaskar aur maa ka ashirvad.sir hamari yahi kamna hai ki aap din par din nayi uchaiya tak pahuche.sir aap ke dawara kiya gaya work police system me nayi jan aur umang bhar di aur janta ka visvas police system ke sath hai. Aur logo ka to nahi janta par mai ye viswas ke sath kah sakta hu ki aap jayse officer ho to hume aur hamare india ki taraf koi aakh utha kar bhi nahi dekh sakta. AAP ke karan sir hum bhi desh aur logo ke liye kam karna chahte hai.
